Our vision and methodology - A bried introduction

In our projects, we work in an iterative process. Every project consists of three steps. Step one is a meeting with the customer (the project owner). We discuss the project and ask a lot of questions so we can get an impression of what the project will be like. We also talk about things like requirements for the final product, goals, the general feel of the project and who will be responsible for what. Step two is actually more like a lot of small steps.

We work iteratively; that is to say we continually deliver prototypes and status reports. While the development is in progress the project owner often realizes that the initial specification has to be changed or adjusted, for example if some functionality needs to be added or removed. The short iterations and frequent prototype deliveries mean that it's easy to see problems with the initial specification very early on in the project, which in turn means that the budget and scheduling can be adjusted accordingly, depending on what changes are necessary.

The last step occurs when development is almost finished. We deliver a release candidate, and if the project owner approves it, development is finished. If not, we return to step two to fix the remaining issues before delivering a new candidate, and so forth until the project owner is satisfied.

We at Agigen have a big and diverse toolbox at our disposal, in order to be able to meet all the possible requirements a project owner could have. We have experience with most modern web development technology. Some our favorite tools are PHP (with frameworks like, for example, Zend), Ruby on Rails, Ajax (with frameworks like Prototype, Scriptaculous, jQuery and Dojo), SOAP, REST and Flash.

Agigen is a small but expansive business with big ambitions and great technical skills. Our office is located at Jungfrugatan in Stockholm city, Sweden. If you want to know more about what we can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to discuss how to solve your particular problems. No project is too big, too small or too uninteresting for us.
